So bought this because it’s a fraction of the cost of the KAC tool by knights armament. Here’s a series of pros and cons to this tool vs the factory tool. Pros: PRICE Full contact on barrel nut for better torque. Very sturdy construction. Very easy to utilize a torque wrench on this tool. CONS: I only have one, this tool does not allow the installation of the barrel nut without removing the gas block. Besides that it’s a great tool for a phenomenal price and I’d use this over the factory tool any day.

Love this

Amazing company and crew! CS is beyond incredible. Tool quality it's bar none. KAC makes nice stuff but there's always ways to improve in nice to become great!

Bueno.

Solid tool for the price, especially relative to the cost of a KAC. The only gripe I have is what everyone else said about not being able to use it without removing the gas block. The trade off for full contact is fair and I knew that going into it... as anyone should, if you have eyes and a few brain cells... so just anticipate the minor headache that will cause and you'll be happy.
