Description
The SureFire 3-prong flash hider is top of the line when it comes to muzzle flash suppression. The 3-prong design mitigates up to 99% of muzzle flash when compared to a bare muzzle, so you can shoot in low light conditions without blinding yourself as well as indoors without the side concussion prevalent in many muzzle brakes. The SF3P flash hider is threaded 5/8x24, so you can attach it to your favorite 7.62 or .308 caliber rifle. Not only is it an effective muzzle device but it has an integrated QD suppressor adapter that works with the SureFire SOCOM series 7.62 silencers. The rock-solid design of the threads, multiple bearing surfaces and QD attachment system on the suppressor ensure that it stays locked down to prevent point of impact shift or baffle strikes. It also helps to stop the prongs from ringing inside the suppressor. The rear of this suppressor adapter has a labyrinth seal that minimizes carbon buildup to prevent the suppressor from seizing after extended firing sessions. Countless hours of rigorous testing and research is why this flash hider along with the suppressor won contracts to used by the US SOCOM.
